An appeal…

Paul Simpson, a lifelong collector of speedway programmes had his speedway programme collection stolen on 23rd April from his home near Edinburgh.

The programmes date back to 1928

The collection includes programmes from rarely seen UK tracks such as Edinburgh Marine Gardens, Rochdale, Perry Barr, Glasgow Ibrox, Rotherham, Smallford, and Portsmouth.

Also stolen were all 3 pre war World Final programmes along with many pre war Internationals, and some early pre war foreign programmes

If anyone hears about programmes being offered around please get in touch with police in Broxburn by calling 101. The Police Scotland (Broxburn) Incident number is 1334.
